Canon DR-G1100 offers optimized image quality due to its latest-generation 3-line CIS (Contact Image Sensor) sensors and its self-calibration capabilities. The MultiStream feature creates two instances of a single scanned page, for example one B&W for OCR processing and one color for archiving. In folio mode, the
Canon DR-G1100 can scan A1 documents folded in half and other documents up to 3 meters in length.

Canon DR-G1100 is packed with image processing features such as automatic page format detection, text orientation recognition, color detection, color dropout, etc.
For a greater degree of versatility, a flatbed scanner unit (A4 or A3), available as an option, can be connected to scan bound documents.
